So far, 9 persons have confirmed their intentions to run for president at Barca.
- Barcelona’s interim board have officially confirmed January 24 as the date for the next presidential election at the club.
- Between December 23 and January 11, the candidates will have to collect signatures in order to enter the presidential race; the required amount hasn’t been specified.
- Polling stations will be located in: Barcelona (at Camp Nou), Tarragona, Tortosa, Lleida, Girona and Andorra. In the rest of Spain, they will be based in Madrid, Seville, Valencia and Palma de Mallorca.
- Victor Font, Xavier Vilajoana, Jordi Farre, Agusti Benedito, Luis Fernandez Ala, Toni Freixa, Pere Riera, Emili Rousaud and Joan Laporta have all officially confirmed they will run for president.
