“I played there, and I graduated in all categories. Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world, and this club’s values are universal values of good,” former Blanco Santiago Solari has said.
“In all humility, I spent more than half of my sporting life at Real Madrid, and my experience is not only limited to the first team. I played there, and I graduated in all categories.”
Solari has been appointed as head coach of Mexican club America. The Argentine played for Real Madrid between 2000 and 2005, registering 22 goals and 19 assists in 208 matches. Santiago also coached Los Blancos’ first team during the 2018-19 season but only lasted from October until March, being eventually replaced by Zinedine.
