Manchester United forward Daniel James has reportedly emerged as a surprise January transfer target for Everton head-coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Despite a mixed first season at Old Trafford, Wales international forward was kept in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-team squad for the first half of 2020-21.
However, the Wales international has only played five games in all competitions since the beginning of September.
According to Football Insider, Premier League rivals Everton are keeping tabs on the situation ahead of a potential move for the 23-year-old forward who has been one of the fastest wingers in the English top-tier.
The Toffees may look to strengthen their offensive options after struggling in the absence of the suspended Richarlison.
James has a deal at Old Trafford until 2024, meaning that a loan deal would be likely should the two teams look to do business.
Meanwhile, Braga defender David Carmo has reportedly emerged as shock transfer target for Man Utd
The 21-year-old, who was rumoured with switch to AS Roma and Fiorentina in the summer transfer window, only made his Primeira Liga debut in January and has since appeared to play 23 games in Portugal’s top-tier.
Carmo has missed Braga’s last two games in the Portuguese League games through suspension, however, was a constant in the early stages of the 2020-21 season, having already eight games on his name in all competitions.
