As can be seen above, Chelsea’s midfield is not where they need to be, leaving 5 Leicester players to occupy all the space in the middle of the field.The only player in the middle is Tammy Abraham, who should be the target for the cross that’s about to be played.Mason Mount is lagging behind, instead of trying to rush in for potential second-balls or making himself an option.Kovacic is in defence even further behind Mount, while Havertz is occupying Tammy’s space.This leaves the Blues no option but to work it wide to the full-backs to play over the top or cross, which Leicester’s defence can see coming the whole time.
