Ole Gunnar Solskjaer predicts big future for Shola Shoretire after Man United debut

The forward made his first Premier League appearance just 19 days after turning 17 years old.
Solskjaer hints that we’ll have to wait for Shoretire’s first start for United.
However, if he continues training like he does, the youngster will feature for the club a lot in the future.
“Yeah, of course, and he’s going to play many games for us if he keeps doing what he’s doing,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reacted to Shola Shoretire’s debut as he spoke to the official Man United website.
“He’s training really well, good boy with a good head on him and hopefully he’ll have a good career with us.”
In a separate interview with BT Sport, however, Solskjaer pointed out that both Shoretire and Amad Diallo will have to wait for their first start in a Man United shirt.
“Probably not, Shola and Amad, no,” he said when asked whether either of the youngsters could start against Real Sociedad on Thursday. I’m not sure that would be fair on them, they’ll be in the squad.”
Shola Shoretire turned 17 years old just 20 days ago, so it’s only natural for Soslkjaer not to be in a hurry to give him a debut in the starting XI. The fact that he has made his first Premier League appearance is already a massive act of confidence from the boss.
