His talent and experience
Barcelona would be getting a player who’s considered one of the most talented players in his position.
Despite his age, he still managed 14 goal contributions (5 goals, 9 assists) for PSG last season.
Di Maria can dribble, and shoot; he possesses great passing and crossing technique. He will definitely add some bite to Barca’s attack.

Di Maria’s contract with PSG ends in July, which means Barca will only have to bother about his wages.

Best years behind
Let’s face it, Di Maria is nowhere near the player he was back in 2014, particularly at the World Cup in Brazil. He’s more like a squeezed out orange right now, plus it’s been 8 years since he left La Liga.

Reports claim Barca will offer Di Maria a one-year deal. What that means is that he’s coming as a stop-gap option who will likely leave in 2023.
