Cristiano Ronaldo is one of 15 Manchester United players who could leave this summer.
Erik ten Hag will be going through his squad and getting rid of any deadwood this summer after such a poor season.
Manchester United have already brought in Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia, and Lisandro Martinez as part of a rebuilding process, and as a result, up to 15 players might leave Old Trafford this summer.
That’s according to the Mirror, who has compiled a list of all the players who could be on their way out by the end of the transfer window.
The most visible player is, of course, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is expected to leave this summer. So far, the 37-year-old has not taken part in Manchester United’s pre-season.
In terms of senior players, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Phil Jones, and Eric Bailly are all likely to be allowed to leave if the right offer comes in.
Shola Shoretire and Alvaro Fernandez, like Ronaldo, are not on United’s pre-season tour, as both players are drawing loan interest.
Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellestri are unlikely to leave the club permanently, although they have recently returned from a loan, and another loan move could be in the cards.
After returning from a loan, Brandon Williams will be permitted to leave the club, while Teden Mengi, Tahith Chong, and Ethan Laird are also available for loan.
Nathan Bishop, Matej Kovar, and Will Fish are the three surviving players.
Ten Hag will be looking for new players after failing to qualify for the Champions League and finishing with no trophies last season. With a limited roster size, some players may have to depart this summer.
