A seven-story building in Lekki, Lagos State, is reportedly collapsed with six people trapped inside.
The event was reported to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos by Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, NEMA’s South West Zonal Coordinator.
According to Farinloye, the building that collapsed was being constructed on Oba Idowu Oniru Street in Lekki.
He claimed that six people appeared to be trapped beneath the building’s debris.
The Nigerian Police Force, NEMA, and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency were among the emergency responders (LASEMA).
Operations are ongoing as of the time of report.
