Why can’t rappers occasionally have a little bit of fun? Relationships and interactions between rappers do not have to be about collaborations and beefs all the time. In addition, a video of G Herbo emulating NBA YoungBoy can be found currently circulating on social media. The clip focuses on G. Herbo’s frenetic dance moves. It appears to be a really relaxed atmosphere; he is shown standing outside with what appear to be balloons behind him. A short search on his Instagram reveals that the balloons are for a birthday party for his daughter Emmy. The Chicago rapper can be seen making movements to light a joint, flailing his arms and legs around, and forcibly removing the joint from his lips while the song “Fresh Prince of Utah” by YB plays in the background of the video.
Considering the Baton Rouge MC’s heated attitude when it comes to beef, hopefully this doesn’t come back to bite G Herbo. While the two don’t have any official collabs together and this seems very light-hearted, YoungBoy is on a bit of a streak right now. After all, he dissed not only Lil Durk, but also his boo India Royale and DJ Akademiks during a lengthy Twitter rant recently. Let’s also not forget his recent “F**k The Industry Pt. 2” diss track, also taking aim at Drake and Lil Yachty. However, it’s unlikely that he would let a simple video draw his ire without any context.
G Herbo’s Spot-On YoungBoy Imitation
Herbo appeared to be having a wonderful time at the occasion with his loved ones, despite the fact that many attendees inquired about his other children. In light of this, it is quite evident that although he and Ari Fletcher have had disagreements in the past, they are still able to come together in order to express some love for their family. For their son Yosohn’s fifth birthday in April, they threw him an extravagant party, complete with superhero costumes and a lot of other fun things. It is gratifying to see him enjoy the simpler and more important things in life, despite the fact that his career in music is continuing to advance and flourish.
On that note, the “Raining” MC is known to be quite the prolific artist year to year, and it’s no different in 2023. Furthermore, he just dropped his latest mixtape Strictly 4 My Fans 2, a 12-track offering that’s quite self-explanatory. With just a couple of features including GloRilla, it’s a concise but self-led offering of what fans love him for. Maybe that NBA YoungBoy and G Herbo collab will come sooner than expected, because maybe YB finds his tribute impressive, or at least as funny as the rest of the fans do. Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates from these two MCs.
