- The Scottish champions have sent a letter to the London Stock Exchange.
- Celtic stated that they received a club-record £25 million fee.
- Contrary to reports, the club claims the fee was paid in full upfront.
Celtic fan website celtsarehere.com managed to get their hands on an official letter sent by the Scottish champions to the London Stock Exchange regarding the transfer of Kieran Tierney.
While we all know that Arsenal paid £25 million for the left-back, there is one surprising thing.
The fee was paid in a ‘single amount’, meaning we had to remove all of the much-disputed add-ons and just pay up.
It should also be noted that this letter is not a fake one as last year Celtic sent an exact one upon the transfer of Moussa Dembele to Lyon. And also nobody wants to mess with the Stock Exchange as that is a criminal offence.
