- The Parisians are ready to accept a number of Barca players as a makeweight.
- However, they demand two out of the trio of Coutinho, Semedo or Dembele, not Rakitic, as it was previously reported.
- Barca, for their part, would like to offload just one player.
Another update on the neverending Neymar transfer saga has just arrived from France. According to highly reputable L’Equipe, Paris Saint-Germainare ready to accept a number of the Barcelona players as a makeweight to bring the Brazilian back. Still, their demands may be too high for the Catalans.
L’Equipe claim that PSG want two Barca players and no less than 100 million euros in cash for Neymar. A potential loan deal with an obligation to buy is completely ruled out as the Parisians need money to sign a replacement.
Which exact players would PSG like to take? L’Equipe name a trio of Philippe Coutinho, Nelson Semedo and Ousmane Dembele. However, they have allegedly rejected Ivan Rakitic as the Parisians’ midfield area is well covered.
It sounds logical for PSG to sign an attacker to replace Neymar while their interest in Semedo has never been a secret. Still, the Catalans tend to keep hold of both Semedo and Dembele and offer Coutinho instead. L’Equipe highlight Barca’s intention to offer PSG just ONE player.
Finally, L’Equipe doubt that the talks are going to continue on Thursday. Barcelona delegation led by sporting director Eric Abidal is said to be in Paris since Tuesday. It’s the first time the sides have negotiated on Neymar’s potential transfer.
On Wednesday’s night, Catalan top source RAC1 claimed PSG wanted 90 million euros for Neymar, as well as THREE Barcelona players: Jean-Clair Todibo, Philippe Coutinho and Nelson Semedo.
