All you have to do is enter ‘The Wizard of Oz’ into the Google search bar. The search results will appear ordinary at first glance. But on the right, where the character name appears, is also a small clickable image of Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers which were featured in the original film.
Then, you click on the slippers twice, which is in place of the usual share button. Next you’ll hear the signature quote “There’s no place like home” right before your search results fade to black & white and turn upside down.
To reverse the effect of the slipper, you have to tap the tornado image which would replace the slipper to signify the tornado from the film that sent Dora to The Land of Oz.
The Wizard of Oz is the best-known and most commercially successful adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s 1900 children’s book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. It was directed primarily by Victor Fleming and stars Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale alongside Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, and Bert Lahr.
