House Party Games – The perfect house party is an energized atmosphere where everyone is either dancing or involved in one fun activity or the other. And one of the best ways to spice up your house party is to introduce games. Party games make people feel less tense and more involved.
Below are 4 games you can try at your next house party:
Flip Cups:
Flip Cup is a team-based game where two teams compete against each other. Both teams stand on opposite sides of the table, facing one another. A disposable plastic cup is placed in front of each player and filled with the same quantity of drink, preferably beer.
The game begins with a customary toast where each player drinks the content of the cup. This is followed by placing the empty cup at the edge of the table, while the first player tries to flick or lift the bottom of the cup for it to flip over and land face down on the table.

Only when the cup is successfully flipped and lands bottom-up on the table can the next person from that team start to drink, and the team that finishes drinking and flipping all its cups first wins.
If a cup is knocked over while trying to flip, the player must go back and reflip. Two hands are not allowed while trying to flip, neither is the player allowed to blow the cup into position.
Beer Pong:
Beer pong is one of the most popular drinking game.
The game is played by two opposing teams of two or more players. Players throw the ping pong balls (table tennis balls) in an attempt to land it in a cup of beer.
To set up the game, you would need a long table, ping pong ball, 12-20 cups and enough beer to re-fill. The cups are set up in a triangular form (like snooker balls) at either end of the table. Two players or a team of players take up either of the ends.
Each team then takes turns attempting to shoot the ping pong balls into the opponent’s cups. The player that misses automatically has to down the cup missed. But if a player hits the target, the opponent has to do the drinking.
Who Am I?
“Who Am I?” is a guessing game in which players guess to identify a famous person. It makes for a pleasant icebreaker.
Players take turns to act like a famous person while the others guess the identity of the person by asking close-ended questions based on the celebrity’s traits.
Truth or Dare:
Truth or Dare is a simple game requiring two or more players. Players are given the choice between answering a question truthfully or performing a “dare”, both of which are set by the other players.
The mood of the game can be set from mild to “dirty”, depending on the players involved.
