The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Umar is in New York as rumours of a wedding to President Muhammadu Buhari go wild.
This news medium had learned that there are rumours of Buhari’s wedding to Sadiya hit a new level on social media.
The wedding between the duo is allegedly billed to take place on Friday at the National Mosque in Abuja by 2 pm.
However, the Minister is presently in the US for a UN working a campaign by the global body on the eradication of poverty.

Meanwhile, First Lady Aisha Buhari has joined the female gender to commemorate international day of the girl child.
Afriupdate reports that rumours are rife that Buhari is getting married to a second wife and that the ‘private’ wedding is set to hold today.
According to speculations on social media, Buhari is set to marry the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management Sadia Farouq in a quiet ceremony.
Ignoring the rumours, the first lady, in a tweet revealing the theme for this year’s celebration of the girl child, said she was happy to see that much progress have been made in the areas of activism.
She tweeted: “Today, I join millions of girls around the world to celebrate this year’s international day of the girl child, the theme for this year is “GirlForce: Unscripted and Unstoppable.
“I am happy to note the progress that has been made in the area of activism by girls to protect 1/2 their gender.”
