The Gunners have reportedly brought scout Sandro Orlandelli back to the club following his stint at Manchester United.
Brazilian journalist Marcus Alves claims that Arsenal sporting director Edu is responsible for this move as he’s trying to boost the club’s South American scouting pool.
Orlandelli, who brought Denilson, Carlos Vela, Wellington Silva and Emiliano Martinez to north London, has previously worked at the club between 2002 and 2012.
He left Arsenal to join Jose Mourinho at Manchester United in 2016 and had been working there since.
Orlandelli has already confirmed his departure from United via Instagram: “On 31st of December 2019, it was my last day working for Manchester United. I’m more than grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such high level and professional people at such a big club. Thanks a lot for everything.”
