- United are looking to complete the transfer this week.
- Fernandes is said to be pushing for a move to Old Trafford.
- However, the Red Devils are yet to reach an agreement with Sporting.
More and more tier one outlets continue to link Bruno Fernandes with a January transfer to Manchester United.
According to the BBC, the Red Devils ‘have held face-to-face talks’ with the midfielder about the potential move to Old Trafford this month.
However, while the 25-year-old is ‘keen on a move’, journalist Simon Stone adds that United are yet to reach an agreement with Sporting Lisbon over the transfer fee.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Mike Phelan personally watched Fernandes in action on January 5 in Sporting’s 2-1 home defeat against Porto.
The Primeira Liga giants are reportedly holding out for a fee of €75 million but someone from the United squad could be included in the deal.
