Former governorship candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP), Babatunde Gbadamosi, along with his wife and Marlians honcho, Azeez Fashola, professionally known as Naira Marley, have been granted bail by the Lagos State Police Command and all three will be arraigned in court on today 8 April 2020, for flouting the Lagos State order on social distancing.
This comes after the trio were detained after they turned themselves in for questioning.
This online news medium had reported that Gbadamosi and his wife, alongside Naira Marley, attended a birthday party at the home of Nollywood actress Funke Akindele Bello and her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, aka JJC Skillz, on Saturday evening amid a 14-day lockdown imposed on state by President Muhammadu Buhari as part of measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 across the state.
The lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic in the state stalled their arraignment at the state magistrate court yesterday April 7th. A police source who confirmed they have been granted bail, said they would be arraigned in court today, April 8th.
