Nigeria on Friday evening confirmed 17 new coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of reported infections in the country to 305.
According to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), eight of the new cases were confirmed in Lagos, three in Katsina, and two in Abuja, the country’s capital.
And for the first time, Anambra and Niger states recorded one case each.
The tweet reads;
“As at 09:30 pm 10th April there are 305 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 58 have been discharged with 7 deaths,”

Seventeen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows:

2 in FCT
1 in Niger
1 in Kaduna
1 in Anambra

It would be recalled that a 15-man COVID-19 medical team from China arrived in Nigeria on Wednesday April 8 2020, to assist the government tackle the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19) despite disapproval from some Nigerians and health workers’ groups.
