DRC Congo On Friday 10 April 2020, recorded a new case of Ebola amid the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that is currently ravaging the world, Afriupdate reports.
This was announced by World Health Organization, African region on their official Twitter handle.
The tweet reads;
“1 new case of #Ebola was confirmed today by surveillance & response teams in Northeastern #DRC after 52 days without a case. @WHO remains as committed as ever to bringing this outbreak to an end”.

Reacting to the news, Dr Matshidiso Moeti said she is sad to hear about a new Ebola case in northeastern DRC Congo as seen below;

It would be Recalled that as at Friday evening April 10 2020, DRC Congo recorded 215 confirmed cases of coronavirus pandemic, 20 death cases and 15 recovered.
