As the deadly coronavirus pandemic continues to spread across Nigeria despite preventive measures mapped out by the federal and state governments to combat the spread of the virus.
Anambra state on Friday 10 April 2020, recorded its first case of the novel coronavirus making Anambra the second state in the South-East region of the country to be infected by the virus.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that Anambra state recorded one case of the virus.
The announcement was made via its Twitter handle on Friday evening as seen below:

3 in Katsina
2 in FCT
1 in Niger
1 in Kaduna
1 in Anambra
