Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde, has disclosed that he volunteered to donate his blood to be studied by experts conducting research on Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Makinde made this known via his verified Twitter handle, stating that as coronavirus (COVID-19) survivor advocating for local solutions to the pandemic in his state, he volunteered to donate his blood for research on “Evaluation of Post Infection Protection Against SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) in Nigeria”.
The tweet reads;
“We have been advocating for local solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic in Oyo State. So, as a COVID-19 survivor, I volunteered to donate my blood to be studied by our experts researching on the “Evaluation of Post Infection Protection Against SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) in Nigeria.”
