Nigeria on Friday recorded 627 new cases of the coronavirus to bring the total in the country to 15,181. There are also 4, 891 recoveries and 399 deaths nationwide (12 today).
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC made this known via its Twitter handle on Friday night.
According to NCDC, Lagos the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, recorded 229 new cases with the FCT adding 65. Abia added 54, Borno 42, Oyo 35, Rivers 28 and Edo 28.

Gombe added 27, Ogun-21, Plateau-18, Delta-18, Bauchi-10, Kaduna-10, Benue-9, Ondo-8, Kwara-6, Nasarawa-4, Enugu-4, Sokoto-3, Niger-3, Kebbi-3, Yobe-1, Kano-1.
