Human rights group identified as The Global Network for Human Rights (GNHR), has handpicked Biafra-political activist and leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and few other Nigerians for investigation after accusing them of Instigating campaign that allegedly led to the death of many policemen across the nation during the #Endsars protest.
According to GNHR, Nnamdi Kanu contributed in one way or the other in ramping up public anger before the protests began. He then intensified the incitement of people in multiple folds in the early days of the protests such that their actions can be directly linked to the outbreak of violence.
Few notable Nigerians to be investigated on GNHR list are Aisha Yesufu, Chief Femi Falana, Falz (Folarin Falana), Nnamdi Kanu, Obianuju Catherine Udeh (DJ Switch), Aisha Yesufu, Reno Omokri, Deji Adeyanju, Dino Melaye, David Oyedepo, BurnaBoy, Paul Okoye, Ayo Makun amongst others.

According to the group, in addition to several police stations that were vandalized, few policemen lost their lives to the incited violence, and some of the victims include; A driver attached to Anti-Kidnapping Unit, AKU (AP/No. 241542 Inspr. Sunday Dubon) who was killed and burnt to ashes; Swawale Ornan (F/No. 414018 Sgt.) attached to 19 PMF on Special Duty at Oyigbo, who also killed and burnt to ashes; And Umunna Uchechukwu (F/No. 424944 Sgt.) who was serving in Afam Police Station, his leg and hand were cut off and burnt to ashes.
According to GNHR statement, the group has vowed to present list of deceased policemen and other evidences to ICC for further investigation.
