Tusquets says that Barca might sign someone in January but they will have to sell first.
It’s also possible that the Catalans bring in someone with an expiring contract.
However, the board could decide to consult with Koeman before making a move.

“If we sell someone, we can buy players. Or we could sign players with expiring contracts,” Diario AS quote Barcelona’s interim president Carles Tusquets saying.

The official went on to discuss the transfers of Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan from back in 2015. The two players were also signed by an interim board with no president in charge.
