“It was important to win today. I had a great desire to get back on the field. I’m very happy with the win and my return,” Marc-Andre ter Stegen told reporters after the match against Dynamo Kyiv.
“We controlled the game in the first half, but later on we lost control. We played a good game, and we started in good shape, but in the last part we suffered a little bit.”

Ter Stegen underwent surgery back in August as he was suffering from chronic knee pain. As a result, he missed the pre-season and the first eight matches, with Neto replacing him between the sticks.
Marc had a wonderful match against Dynamo, making six saves and being the man responsible for Barcelona getting away with three points. The shot-stopper was named man of the match by RAC1.
