About Afriupdate

Afriupdate exists for one reason: talented Africans lose life-changing opportunities simply because nobody told them the opportunity existed. Scholarship deadlines pass, visa-sponsored roles close, and relocation programmes fill up while the information sits buried on pages that are hard to find and harder to trust.

We collect jobs with visa sponsorship, fully funded scholarships, internships, fellowships and relocation programmes that are genuinely open to African applicants, and we publish them in one searchable place — with the deadline, the requirements, the location and a direct link to the official application page.

How listings get on the site

Every listing comes from one of three places: the employer or institution's own official page, an official government or funding-body announcement, or a submission from our community. Community submissions are held in a review queue and are only published after a human checks that the opportunity is real, still open, and links to an official source.

We do not charge applicants, we do not sell "guaranteed" visas or admissions, and we never ask for payment to feature an application. If a listing on Afriupdate asks you for money to apply, treat it as a red flag and report it to us.

How we stay free

Afriupdate is free forever for the people using it. We cover our costs with advertising and, in some cases, affiliate links to services applicants already use. Advertising never decides which opportunities are listed, how they are ranked, or what we write about them. Sponsored or affiliate links are disclosed where they appear.

Editorial limits

We are not a recruiter, an immigration adviser, or an agent. We summarise publicly available information so you can decide what to apply for, and we always point you to the official source to complete your application. Requirements and deadlines can change after we publish, so confirm the details on the official page before you apply.
