1. UTME 2021: JAMB Candidates Recount Network Experiences At CBT Centres
Some candidates at the on-going Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2021, on Tuesday, expressed mixed feelings over network performance at some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.
Candidates, who spoke with NAN at the Brain Builders CBT centre, Egbeda-Idimu, Lagos said that there was no system error but that the network was not perfect.

Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) has dispelled the death rumour of a former General Evangelist of the church, Prophet Samuel Abiara.
This is contained in a statement issued by a cleric and son of the CAC leader, Issac Abiara on Tuesday, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
3. Again, Buhari Govt Speaks On Twitter Ban In Nigeria
Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, has said that the Federal Government’s ban on Twitter’s operations was in Nigeria’s interest.
Mohammed, who stated this when he appeared before the House Committee on Information on Tuesday, in Abuja, cited various sections of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in support of the action that was officially taken in the light of the security challenges facing the country.
4. Leaking National Assembly Roof, Flood Sack Reps From Legislative Complex
There was a downpour in Abuja, the Nigeria capital on Tuesday morning, leaving several parts of the National Assembly Complex flooded.
The central lobby at the ‘White House’ section of the building, which joined the Senate with the House of Representatives chamber, was flooded.
5. Camera Captures Couple Having Sex Atop 6,500 Feet Mountain
A mountain camera captured a couple having sex 6,500ft up an Austrian mountain.
The webcam, which takes shots every 20 minutes at the Nock Mountain National Park in the Gurktal Alps in Austria, managed to capture the couple having sex and posted it online after software failed to notice the pair and switch off the lens.
6. EU Commission Drags Google Into Fresh Advertising Probe
Google on Tuesday was in the EU antitrust spotlight as regulators opened an investigation into whether its digital advertising business gives the Alphabet unit an unfair advantage over rivals and advertisers.
Google was fined about $9.5 billion by the European Union competition enforcers for blocking rivals in online shopping, Android smartphones, and online advertising.
7. Red Tuesday: Bitcoin Plunges Below $30k As Selloff Deepens
The cryptocurrency market was painted red on Tuesday, with bitcoin breaking below the $30,000 mark for the first time since January.
Bitcoin has now blown off almost all of its gains this year after it rallied to near $65,000 in April. As of report time, bitcoin was down 11 percent trading at $28,981.

Lionel Messi contract ends in June but the 58-year old president has been able to sway the 6-time Balon d’Or winner to a renewal with the signing of his countryman, Kun Aguero.
9. BBNaija’s Vee Set To Drop Debut EP ‘Young And Reckless’
BBNaija reality star and singer, Adeleye ‘Vee’ Victoria, has revealed that she is cooking up something in the studio.
Via Twitter, the 23-year-old singer said that she is set to release her debut Extended Play (EP) which she titled ‘Young and Reckless’. She simply wrote: ‘Young and Reckless out soon! A whole beautiful project’.
10. Lagos Council Chairman Olufunmi Rafiu Olatunji Is Dead
The chairperson of Eti Osa local government, Olufunmi Rafiu Olatunji, seeking re-election is dead.
Olatunji who had been battling with an illness died on Monday night, June 21 at his Sangotedo residence.
