
Australian actor Harry Hains who starred in American TV series “American Horror Story” has died at age 27.
Hains’ mother – former Neighbours star Jane Badler – confirmed the news on Instagram, saying her “beautiful son” son passed away on 7 January.
“He was 27 and had the world at his feet,” she wrote, alongside a series of pictures of Hains. “But sadly he struggled with mental illness and addiction.
“A brilliant spark shone bright too short a time… I will miss you Harry every day of my life.”
Bandler did not reveal the cause of Hains’ death.
“TO 2020!×××The NEW ERA has already begun,” he captioned a snap of himself and a female friend on Instagram.
“So let’s all keep only moving forward, staying so present to enjoy each & every moment throughout this beautiful new BEGINNING – HAPPY N3W YEAR peeeeps SO MUCH LOVE & GRATITUDE FOR ALL IN MY LIFE.”
One pal had commented about this being “your year”, to which Harry replied: “Woo finallyyyy.”
A memorial service will be held in Los Angeles on 12 January.
