Davido, the Nigerian singer and songwriter, has revealed that he has another son, Dawson. The news comes just over a year after the death of his first son, Ifeanyi, who drowned in a swimming pool at the singer’s residence in October 2022. The news comes as a surprise to many, as Davido has never publicly acknowledged the existence of another child.
In an interview with AB Talks podcast, Davido was asked about his children. He said, “I have a son. His name is Dawson. He lives with his mother in London.”
This is not the first time that rumors have circulated about Davido having another child. In 2020, a UK model named Larissa London claimed that she was pregnant with Davido’s child. Davido denied the claims at the time, but it seems that he has now confirmed that he is indeed the father of Dawson.
Davido did not disclose the identity of Dawson’s mother, but he did say that she is not a celebrity. He also said that he is very close to Dawson and that he tries to see him as often as possible.
