We can’t keep calm, Taylor Swit is officially set to perform at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.
This will mark her first major televised performance following the release of her seventh studio album Lover, which finally drops on Friday, August 23.
Swift alongside Ariana Grande has the most nominations (10 total), including Video of the Year and Song of the Year (for “You Need To Calm Down”). She also received 10 nominations in 2015, for “Blank Space” and “Bad Blood.”
Since 2008, she has garnered seven VMAs overall, for Best Female Video, Best Collaboration, Video of the Year and more.
The last time the “Shake it off” singer performed at the VMAs was in 2015, with her 1989 hit “Bad Blood.”
MTV VMAs will broadcast live from Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on August 26 at 8:00 p.m. EST/PST.
