- A fillet of salmon
- 10 medium-sized shrimp
- A stalk of celery
- A couple slices of bell pepper
- Half a carrot
- 1 1/4 of uncooked rice
- 2 cups of water
- Olive oil
- 1 egg (optional)
Method:
Prepare and Cook the rice
Just cook this rice the same way you make your normal rice, however, it will not get to be soft before taking it out. Usually it takes around 30 minutes for the rice to cook if your cooker is not too fast. Ensure you check your rice so it does not get soggy.
Prepare your vegetables
All the vegetables you have ready, chop them in small pieces and keep them to be added in the rice later.
Prepare the seafood
Take out the salmon and shrimp. If they are frozen, soak them in water for about 5 minutes. Chop into small pieces to be added to the rice later.
Make the fried rice
Mix your seasoning together to your taste. Heat up a saucepan with medium heat and add olive oil, pour the seafood till it is halfway cooked.
Add the vegetables and mix together.
After it is soft, add your cooked rice and seasoning and mix together.
Cook for some 3 minutes and it is ready to be served.
