Netflix is expanding beyond streaming and into the culinary space. The company has announced that it will be opening the doors to its first-ever restaurant, Netflix Bites.
With the restaurant, Netflix envisions bringing the favorite on-screen cuisine of viewers to their dinner plates. Opening on June 30 in Los Angeles, the restaurant will serve food from chefs from some of its top cooking shows, such as Chef’s Table and Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend.
Among the accomplished fleet of chefs are Curtis Stone (Iron Chef), Dominique Crenn (Chef’s Table, Iron Chef) and Rodney Scott (Chef’s Table: BBQ). There’s also Ming Tsai (Iron Chef), Ann Kim (Chef’s Table: Pizza), Nadiya Hussain (Nadiya Bakes), Jacques Torres (Nailed It!) and Andrew Zimmern (Iron Chef).
To accompany the food, Netflix has brought on some of its top mixologists from Drink Masters, Frankie Solarik, Julie Reiner, LP O’Brien and Kate Gerwin.
Netflix Bites isn’t a permanent fixture but will be a pop-up running for a limited time. The restaurant will be open seven days a week for dinner service, as well as for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations can be made online.
