The famous hammer wielded by Chris Hemsworth as Thor has been put on auction and will be sold once the bidding gets into six figures.
The Stunt Mjolnir Hammer from the 2011 Marvel Studio’s film Thor is expected to be sold off for at least $100,000 at one of the world’s largest live auctions of film and TV memorabilia next month.
TMZ reports that Propstore, the auction’s handlers, have also included super cool items from other blockbuster films like Star Wars, Back To The Future, Cast Away and Freddy vs. Jason.
The news outlet also projects a whopping $9million to be accrued from the auction, and the most expensive item to be the screen-matched ILM ‘Red Leader’ X-Wing Starfighter model miniature from Star Wars: A New Hope.
Other items up for bid include a screen-matched distressed Wilson volleyball from Cast Away estimated to get a winning bid between $80k to $120k.
Freddy Kruger’s protruding bladed glove and sweater SFT rig from the 2003 film Freddy vs. Jason is also included in the auction and expected to sell for at least $15k.
The auction will include over 1800 rare and iconic movie props going up for sale during Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, which will begin from June 22 to June 24 at the auction’s house U.S. HQ in Valencia, CA.
The live auction will also be streamed online for movie fans interested.
