Thomas Tuchel has hit the ground running since his arrival at Chelsea at the end of January
– The German has already managed to steer the club back to the top four in the Premier League
– He also led to the finals of the FA Cup and the Champions League where they will play Man City
Frank Lampard has praised Thomas Tuchel following the German’s impressive start to life since his arrival at Chelsea.
Tuchel replaced Lampard towards the end of January at the helm of affairs at Stamford Bridge following the latter’s axing after a string of poor results that saw the club drop out of the top four.
Lampard’s successor has since had a near-instant impact, with Chelsea already on course to secure a Champions League slot.
The Blues are also through to the final of this season’s Champions League final where they are scheduled to take on rivals Man City for a chance to lift the coveted European title.
Tuchel also managed to steer the Blues to the final of FA Cup which they lost to a solitary goal against Leicester City.

And while assessing the former Paris Saint-Germain manager’s stint thus far, Lampard was full of praise for the German.
“I’ll give him credit for that as well because to reach two finals and to be in contention for the top four, I know that battle from last year, we were in it last year and it’s a tough battle, especially in the run-in,” Lampard said.
When asked about his future plans, the Englishman revealed he is keen to return to the dugout, but remained coy on which team he is keen on.
“It’s something I love doing, I love working in management, even more than I thought I would do,” he revealed.

The legendary midfielder has already been linked with the Crystal Palace job which is set to fall vacant at the end of the season.
Current manager Roy Hodgson is due to step down from the role, forcing the Eagles to enter the market for a replacement.
Lampard has since been touted as a potential candidate, with reports in the UK placing him as a favourite to take over at Selhurst Park.
Earlier, Afriupdate had reported how Leicester City and Chelsea players were both involved in a mass brawl at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night, May 18, after the Blues recorded an important 2-1 win over the Foxes.
Chelsea stars did themselves lots of good by winning the Premier League game which has now given them the hopes of picking the Champions League ticket for next season.
Tuchel and his wards are currently occupying third position on the Premier League table and they must get a win in their last game of the season so as not to be moved by any result Leicester City get in their own game.
