One of the strangest and most scandalous pop culture tales of the year is the conflict between Zion Williamson and Moriah Mills. If you’re unaware, the NBA star was accused of having an affair with the adult film actress and getting her pregnant. Since then, contradictory denials, charges that his team threatened Mills, and other allegations have dominated public discourse. However, Mills has now made much more grave and damaging charges concerning Williamson. She recently claimed in a sobbing TikTok video that the basketball player had physically assaulted her and had paid her off to keep quiet about it in an apparent effort to gain his attention and put pressure on the situation.

He’s a complete lie, you guys, she said. “Everything he says is false; he is not who he claims to be. Furthermore, these are serious accusations that could even result in a court case. While the New Orleans Pelican hasn’t entertained these rumors, many fans sided with him and want Mills to stop her stream of posts about it. Still, this is something that the NBA will likely have to investigate now, and despite the wild nature of the situation, it shouldn’t invalidate her experiences or diminish his accountability if true.
