The Police in the Ashanti Region has detained six people for putting a stick in the anus of a teenage boy in Agogo, Ashanti Region’s Asante Akim North District.
The victim who is yet to be identified is accused of stealing from an agrochemical store owned by one of the Agogo Market suspects.
Confirming the incident, the Konongo Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Shaibu Abubakar Sadique-Osei described the treatment meted out to the teenager as barbaric.
He further revealed that the police are currently on a manhunt for the more suspects responsible for the predicaments of the teenager.
