Every seasonal Supreme kick-off is like a mini-holiday in New York’s Lower East Side. On August 22, the legendary skate brand, which still occupies its temporary 190 Bowery location, launched its Fall/Winter 2019 collection, unsurprisingly heralded by an endless queue despite the scorching heat.
A whole host of covetable collectibleswere on hand for the season’s first drop, ranging from Supreme-branded voodoo dolls and measuring cups to a Mary J. Blige graphic tee. Fans who snapped up the new Martin Wong-designed 8-ball hoodies, velour flower-printed baseball shirts and GORE-TEX overcoats were occasionally rewarded with an assortment of free goodies that included red paratrooper toys (complete with branded parachute, of course) and a special scratch-off box logo sticker. The collaborative Timex watch and Tsubota lighter were also fan-favorites, each offering minuscule box logo imagery.
