Fans were left a bit shocked when some few months back, Miley Cyrus announced that she and her husband, Liam Hemsworth have decided to go their separate ways.
Making this even more ‘confusing’ was when she was spotted with reality TV star, Kaitlynn Carter shortly after. The two women were spotted kissing at a poolside in Italy. Carter herself had also at the time just split with her man, Brody Jenner.
The two became inseparable after their kiss became public knowledge and were in a two-month whirlwind romance before news emerged again that Cyrus has called it quits. According to a report by TMZ, Cyrus got spooked over how quickly her relationship with Carter was developing so she pulled the plug and bailed.
It is also gathered that there was no cheating or fighting involved in Cyrus’ decision to break things off and they were getting along just fine with the duo living together and even talk of marriage. Sources close to Cyrus told TMZ that she wasn’t ready to hop back into another committed relationship so soon.
Cyrus has since seemingly moved on with Cody Simpson although she is still on good terms with Carter who is a bit worried about Cyrus’ behaviour. Carter remains single as Cyrus moves on to a new man.
