In Port Harcourt, the state’s capital, police officers from the Rivers State Police Command saved 15 kids from a child trafficking organization.
This information was provided to the media on Tuesday at a press conference held by the state police chief, Friday Eboka.
A fake reverend sister who is thought to be the brains behind the state’s child trafficking operation was also paraded by the Command.
Other suspects accused of abduction, selling drugs, stealing cars and motorcycles, and running guns were also paraded.
Even though some of the kids have been reunited with their parents, investigations are still going on.
