The National Social Investment Program of Nigeria (NSIP) Team on Thursday sent a message to exited N-Power Batches A and B beneficiaries who are finding it difficult to complete their email validation process. This development amid the much-publicised NEXIT for the one-time volunteers.
In the message sighted by this online news medium, the N-Power Scheme asked the disengaged beneficiaries to “bear with us”.
As seen below, It further urged them to check their email spam box and other email box categories for the validation email to complete their application for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Empowerment Options.
Meanwhile, an ex-beneficiary, simply named Oluwabusola said she has been able to input her records through the link sent to her via SMS.
Her explanation: “When you click on the link and you enter your email and password, then they will tell you your email has been verified, then you will be redirected to enter your security question.
“After that, you will be directed to record your details.”
Recall that Afriupdate had earlier reported that Nneka Ikem, the Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development said that 126,937 exited beneficiaries from Batches A and B have so far submitted their records for the CBN Empowerment program.
The minister’s aide asked those who haven’t succeeded yet, to share their challenges with her.
“The CBN in collaboration with of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs has developed a portal to enable exited N-Power beneficiaries to log on and apply for the various CBN economic empowerment and entrepreneurship options such as the AGSMEIS loan and the Anchor Borrowers Program (ABP),” Minister Farouq had said.
“Interested N-Power exited beneficiaries should log on to the CBN portal for more information. The website portal is http://nexit-fmhds.cbn.gov.ng.”
