A farmer, identified simply as Dubore, has found a newborn baby concealed inside a carton, and abandoned it on his farm in Gwaram Local Council of Jigawa State.
The baby was found alive on Sunday morning, September 24, when the farmer was working on his farm.
The Guardian gathered that immediately Debore discovered the baby, he informed the village head of Wurya in Gwaram Tsohuwa about the incident.

Confirming the incident, Personal Assistant to Gwaram Local Council Chairman, Alhaji Tamaji Gwaram, said he was contacted by the village head about the newborn baby.
According to him, the child was taken to the Divisional Police Officer of Gwaram for further action, where the police officers took the baby to the hospital, and confirmed that his health status was right.
