The leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has announced a special broadcast for Saturday, one month, one week after his last broadcast.
Afriupdate reports that Mazi Kanu gave the update on his official Facebook page on Thursday, much to the delight of his teeming followers.
This online news platform learnt that Kanu’s last broadcast was on October 30, 2020.
Before now, the 53-year-old does broadcast via his known Facebook page twice averagely in a week.
Many believe Kanu’s nonbroadcast – which some have termed ‘unusual’ – is due to the current crisis rocking IPOB leadership.
Top IPOB members such as Uche Mefor and Amaka Ekwo have left the group.

Mefor, before his resignation, was the deputy leader of IPOB and a right-hand man of Nnamdi Kanu.
Mefor was said to have called for a change of approach and attitude among IPOB members.
The estranged IPOB deputy leader is rumoured to be having a feud with Nnamdi Kanu.
