Nigerian Biafra political activist and leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, has lashed out at the Nigerian Police and Army saying they “run away from terrorists only to turn their guns on unarmed civilians”.
It would be recalled that Afriupdate reported on Monday about the clash between IPOB and Nigeria’s secret police, Department of State Services (DSS). Multiple persons were reportedly killed in the Confrontation. Read in details here.
DSS claimed it lost two personnel, while the banned IPOB said 21 of its members were killed in the clash last weekend. However, Afriupdate could not independently verify IPOB’s claim though.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu had vowed that the clash in Enugu will not diminish his controversial group’s struggle for the restoration of Biafra.
He further lamented the activities of Nigerian security agencies in a Facebook post on Friday.
