The Special Counsel to Nigerian Biafra political activist, Nnamdi Kanu and the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Aloy Ejimakor has asked the CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey, to ‘please verify Nnamdi Kanu’.
Afriupdate understands the outlawed IPOB and its self-exiled leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu are canvassing for the secession and sovereignty of Eastern Nigeria.
IPOB, a separatist organisation which was founded in 2012, has been rigorous with their agitation via social media.
Ejimakor, a strong Biafra apostle, made the request to Dorsey on his known Twitter handle on Sunday.
It would be recalled that the boss of the microblogging platform recently threw his weight behind Nigeria’s #EndSARS Protest.
In a tweet last Wednesday, Dorsey urged all concerned to make donations via Bitcoin in support of the cause, which has seen many Nigerians relentlessly take to the streets in protest.
The platform Dorsey co-founded, Twitter, also created an #EndSARS emoji last week.
According to legal practitioner, Ejimakor, controversial Kanu “not only survived SARS, he survived the deadlier Nigerian Army”.
Hence, he deserves to be verified on Twitter, Ejimakor stated.
Dear @jack: Thank you for @Twitter & for rallying to #EndSARS.
I need one more FAVOR from you: Pls VERIFY @MaziNnamdiKanu.
He helped most to prep #NigerianYouths for this HISTORIC moment. Plus, he not only survived #SARS, he survived the DEADLIER #NigerianArmy.
