After another attempt to regain the $50,000 price, BTC slipped back to $48,000 with all of the altcoin space also in the red.
Ethereum is close to $4000 and other significant losses from Cardano, Polkadot, Terra, Solana, etc. The major cryptocurrency had better days trading near $58,000 last week when it fell $16,000 for a couple of hours on Sunday morning. Despite initial success in making up some ground when it hit nearly $50,000 a day later, it has struggled since then.
The major cryptocurrency had some success in rebounding as it neared the $50,000 price range, but it has struggled most of the time since then, and the biggest upward momentum came to $52,000, but the bears refused to let it rise any further. They pushed the cryptocurrency south by a few thousand dollars and BTC stayed below $50,000 while BTC challenged the same price level for the past 24 hours, but to no avail. The rejection brought it to just over $47,000 a few hours ago and so far BTC has regained some ground, above the $48,000 price range but with a market cap of around $900 billion.
Ethereum has been on a roller coaster ride in the past few days trading near $4,700 for a week before a market-wide crash pushed it south to $3,500 and then caught up after hitting $4,400 a few days later. However, negative market sentiment returned, pushing DETH around $4000 and now it is near that line. The rest of the larger cap altcoins are in a similar position. Binance Coin is down 3%, Ripple is also down 2% and has a pretty good retracement. Solana has decreased by 6%, Cardano by 5.5%, Terra by 8.5%, DOGE by 5%, DOT by 7%, CRO by 7%, MATIC by 9.5% because it has the highest value on one Lost day.
Yesterday’s top winner in the crypto market, WAX, fell the most, falling 16.5%, bringing the coin down to $ 0.5. Tezos lost more than it fell 13%, Qtum 10%, Decentraland 10% and OKB 11%. total market capitalization is down $ 150 billion from the previous day to $ 2,250 trillion.
