As the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread across Africa and other parts of the world, Sallam Sharaf, Diamond Platnumz’s manager has tested positive to the novel coronavirus, Afriupdate reports.
Sharaf announced this in an Instagram post he shared. As seen below, he revealed that he is under mandatory quarantine and closely monitored by medical doctors.
Sallam is believed to have travelled to Europe on March 5 where he visited Switzerland, Denmark and France and returned on Saturday March 14. While there he announced the cancellation of Diamond’s shows due to the pandemic that was already ravaging Europe.

To date, more than 233 cases of the new coronavirus have been registered in sub-Saharan Africa and four people have died, making it the least-affected region in the world.
