The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Ebonyi state tops the 400 mark on Monday following the report of 43 infections.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the new figures in a late-night post via its verified Twitter handle.
According to the health agency, Ebonyi state now has 438 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of 11:23pm on June 29, 2020.
On the positive note, 344 patients have been successfully treated and discharged from the isolation centres in Ebonyi state.
The NCDC has put the state’s death toll from the disease at 3.
