Disengaged Beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s N-Power scheme are swooping on Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria, as they still have unsettled stipends.
Afriupdate recalls that Farouq had earlier disclosed that the reason some N-Power beneficiaries are yet to get their outstanding stipends is because “the office of the Accountant-General is the last authority responsible for the release of their stipends”.
She, however, gave hint that outstanding stipends payment for Batches A and B beneficiaries will be settled soon as seen below:
In fact, as at the time of publishing this report, the exited Batch B beneficiaries have not gotten paid for July. Around 300, 000 Batch B beneficiaries earn a monthly stipend of N30, 000 (78 US Dollars). That’s over 9 billion naira Nigerian money still on Farouq’s neck.
The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs oversees the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs), in which the famed N-Power scheme is one of its components.

It serves as lesson to u @Sadiya_farouq that u re making committed NPower beneficiaries crying everyday for your action without good exit packages yet. Life is vanity stop buying fame and fake hailing at the expense of innocent beneficiaries. @MBuhari @LagosNPower
