The Batch B beneficiaries of the Federal government’s N-Power programme have not been paid their July stipends, Afriupdate reports.
Although exited, the beneficiaries are entitled to their ₦30,000 monthly stipend as they were officially relieved of their duty on July 31st, 2020.
Today is August 22, and despite commencing June stipends payment on Wednesday, the Federal ministry of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development disregarded last month’s pay.
In fact, several beneficiaries (Batch A and Batch B) told Afriupdate on Friday that they are yet to get credit alert for their June stipends.
The reason for the ministry’s disinterest in Batch B’s July stipends cannot be established as at the time of publishing this report, but this online news medium is only aware that following public outcry, the one-year-old ministry decided to pay the withdrawn beneficiaries their June stipend.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs held its First Year Anniversary yesterday in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
