A civil rights activist, Mustapha Kabir Soron Dinki has queried why the NEXIT portal is rejecting bonafide disengaged N-Power beneficiaries.
Afriupdate gathered from several Batch A and B N-Power beneficiaries that they are facing challenges registering on the NEXIT portal.
In a post he shared to The Youths-4-Change Network’s known Facebook page recently, Soron-Dinki, a foremost youth leader in Kano State, also urged the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and the Ministry of Finance to settle outstanding stipends of Batches A and B beneficiaries.

Why Does Nexit Portal Reject Valid Exited Npower Beneficiaries?
This is a national question. Is it intentionally established to reduce the number of the beneficiaries?
Actually, there is a question mark on how the site works against the majoritarial number of the well-deserved applicants.
For sure, many of them are still enrolled on their Npower dashboards, but being rejected by the portal. For what?
Factly, available information has told us that, in the process of trying to register, some beneficiaries’ accounts have been deactivated by the Npower managers for maximum attempts. Why?
Sincerely, there’s an iota of frustration, inequality, hidden game, lack of transparency in the process. What about our members whom have been owed 5 months backlogs?
For that, we advise the government to review the application process for fair play and basic outcomes. We’re tired of hearing stories from Nkem (Minister’s media aide).
God bless Nigeria, may we see the best.
The N-Power is the Muhammadu Buhari administration’s unemployment easing initiative which it prides as one of the largest post-tertiary job schemes in Africa.
Roughly 500, 000 graduate beneficiaries who earned a monthly stipend of N30, 000 (approximately 79 US Dollars) were exited in July 2020.
As at the time of publishing this report, the Ministry supervising the famed scheme, Humanitarian Affairs, has announced nothing concrete as regards the transition plan for these exited Nigerian youths.
